Choosing door handles: color, shape and the right type
New door handles give your doors a different look. Start with the type that technically fits and then choose the color and material. In this collection you will find door handles on rose and on backplate, with different options for keyholes, cylinder locks and toilet doors. Check for each product what it is suitable for and which parts the chosen set contains.
Door handle on rose or on backplate?
With door handles on rose, there is a round or square cover plate around the handle. A keyhole or cylinder may require a separate rose. Door handles on backplate have a longer cover plate. If you are replacing existing hardware, also compare the drill holes and the dimensions of the old backplate.
Choose a color that matches your interior
Compare black door handles, white door handles, silver-colored door handles and gold door handles. Check the material per product: a silver-colored finish does not automatically mean that the handle is made of stainless steel.
What should you measure before ordering?
Check the door thickness, spindle size, mounting points and the type of lock. For a toilet door, choose a suitable WC version; for a cylinder lock, a cylinder rose. The content may vary per variant.
